Children & Youth
We value children and youth! Our goal is to develop an interactive program of interesting activities which will teach and inspire children and youth to know Christ!
Nursery: Sunday, 9:30am - 12:00pm.
For children under 5 years of age the nursery helps mom or day with early Christian formation. Moreover in allows mom or dad to be fully present during 10:45 Worship Hour knowing their children are being cared foe in a responsibly and loving way. If however your child desires to be with you in worship, children are always welcomed with open arms!
Children's Sunday School: Sunday, 9:30am - 10:30am
Age appropriate lessons and activities are offered weekly. Biblical teachings of both old and new testament lessons are presented in a fun and light way.
Kingdom Kids: Sundays, 10:45am - 11:00am
Held each Sunday during the 10:45 worship hour is for Children ages 5 to 12 years. Located in "Bayside 1" a Christ centered lesson and activity is planned by weekly adult volunteers.
Held on the beach at Dagsboro Street , Fenwick Island, De. Time: 9:30 a.m. until noon for children ages 4-12 years. Games, Bible stories, songs, and dramas are used to proclaim the gospel. This will be the 10th annual event and the numbers sore, particularly among summer visitors. This year "Quest", sponsored by local areas churches will be held on the beach for youth 5th - 8th grade from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. starting Monday July 12 - Thursday July 15th. Friday October 29th at 6:00 pm at Bayside Chapel. A safe Christian alternative to door knocking in the dark, the event begins on Friday, October 29th at 6:00pm. Members from Bayside Chapel and St. Matthews By The Sea bring their cars, vans and pickups into the church parking lot and decorate them with a fun theme.
- We provide games and treats for the kids to "trick or treat" each "trunk."
- Food is available for all.
- Pumpkin painting.
- Prize for the best Christian costume.
Mostly designed for children 12 and under in age. Bring your children, grandchildren and your friends and join in the fun!
7:00pm - 8:30pm, Monday-Thursday. For youth in 5th-8th Grades. Come play games on the beach and explore life issues
in a safe and encouraging environment. Like SuperKids, Quest is sponsored by area churches.
